Reading Readiness
Reading Readiness introduces reading skills. With an
emphasis on phonics, sight words and literature, it prepares students for the
Developmental Reading Program.
Emergent Reader
This program prepares students for the Developmental
Reading Program, which introduces reading skills with an emphasis on phonics,
sight words and literature.
Developmental
Reading
Once students have mastered phonics and sight words, we
work on helping them to become stronger readers. The Developmental Reading
Program teaches core comprehension skills and builds vocabulary.
Enrichment Reading
Designed for students on or above their grade level. The
Enrichment Reading Program builds on the Developmental Reading Program to
enhance reading ability. This is where students with focus on oral reading,
reading rate, spelling, advanced comprehension and vocabulary skills.
Enrichment Reading turns a good reader into an excellent reader.
